I am a passionate advocate for environmental sustainability and youth engagement. I have been actively involved with Youth4Nature, an organization dedicated to mobilizing youth voices in the fight against climate change and promoting nature-based solutions. Through this platform, I have contributed to various initiatives that aim to raise awareness and inspire action among young people regarding environmental issues.

In addition to my work with Youth4Nature, I have collaborated with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), engaging in projects focused on biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. This experience has deepened my understanding of global environmental challenges and the importance of integrating youth perspectives in policy-making processes.

I am also a member of the ECOP (Early Career Oceans Professionals), where I work as part of the fundraising committee. Currently, I am writing a book for kids in Africa which will be translated into 6 local languages in Africa to inspire young readers to appreciate and protect the environment. Through these diverse roles, I continue to make significant contributions to environmental advocacy, inspiring others to join the movement for a sustainable future.

Atlantic Canada Climate Network operates on the unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq, Wolastoqiyik, Passamaquoddy, Penobscot, and Abenaki nations, or, The Wabanaki Confederacy, as well as Innu, and Inuit Peoples.

This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”, which these nations first signed with the British Crown in 1726. The treaties did not deal with the surrender of lands and resources, but in fact, established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations.
