Vince's journey into environmental work began with the study of History at CEGEP in Quebec. Over time, his interest shifted towards environmental issues and public communication, which led him to a program at Bishop’s University. There, he gained valuable experience as a research assistant for a sustainable development team, focusing on social media communications. While this role was fulfilling, Vince was eager for more hands-on experience and public engagement, which he found with the Atlantic Coastal Action Program in Saint John, NB. In this role, he was deeply involved in environmental projects and educational outreach. Vince further honed his skills in fieldwork, research, and collaboration with local First Nations during his time at the Conservation Council of NB. Currently, he is actively volunteering with the Atlantic Canada Climate Network, gaining experience while contributing to the community and exploring new career opportunities.

Atlantic Canada Climate Network operates on the unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq, Wolastoqiyik, Passamaquoddy, Penobscot, and Abenaki nations, or, The Wabanaki Confederacy, as well as Innu, and Inuit Peoples.

This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”, which these nations first signed with the British Crown in 1726. The treaties did not deal with the surrender of lands and resources, but in fact, established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations.
